American Express and JetBlue Extend Relationship
JetBlue and American Express enjoy a strong partnership that originated with JetBlue’s launch in 2000, when the airline began accepting American Express® Cards. In December 2004, American Express added JetBlue to its Membership Rewards® program enabling enrolled Cardmembers to transfer points directly into TrueBlue accounts for travel with the airline. The relationship between JetBlue’s TrueBlue flight gratitude program and the Membership Rewards program from American Express exceeded its one-year goal within four months. In June, both companies announced an extension of their relationship with an exclusive co-brand Credit Card agreement.
