Hopefully someone can help with my query, particularly some of the Swedish members.
I shall be flying with Flynordic from Stockholm to Kiruna on August 14. During my flight research, I noticed that SAS offered the same route (for more money) with flight times varying from just over an hour to two hours 20 minutes. I'm assuming that the longer flight time includes a stopover somewhere.
My flight time with Flynordic is two hours 20 minutes, and am assuming that I'll get a stopover somewhere, but I can't work out where. The two cities I thought we might stop at were either Umea or Lulea, but when I checked Flynordic's departures to those cities, nothing coincided with the departure time of my flight to KRN. Also, it seems that you can't book a flight from either of those cities to KRN. Flynordic's website says nothing about any kind of stopover enroute.
Do you see my confusion?! If anyone could help with why my flight time is so long for such a short direct flight, I'd be very grateful. Not that it makes any difference to me, I'm just curious to know!
Many thanks in advance.
