Though the word has been out on the new business class seat at AA
for some time now, I had no idea PTVs would be coming to J class on the 767 or that the IFE would be upgraded on the 777. IF
that is true, the IFE system would certainly have to be updated in F, and it seems like it would then make sense to standardize and have the new system in Y as well. Would this also bring PTVs to Y on the 767?
The whole question of updated/new IFE seems questionable. That is a large outlay in addition to the new seats. Does anyone have more info on this? It would be great news if AA
thinks they can pull it off.
Another question: Is Contour the manufacturer of the new business seat? I know they produced the Flagship Suite.
