Song 757 At CLT!

Sun Jul 24, 2005 10:26 am

As we taxied to our gate after arriving from bos on July 12th, I noticed a Song 757 on the ground with it's cowlings open. I don't think they have started flights there so does anyone know why it was there?

Pretty likely that it was a diversion or equipment sub. DL has subbed Song 757s for mainline equipment before, so it's no biggie...

It was DL2030 JFK-FLL. The plane diverted to CLT for a medical emergency and then the engine went on a mtc. The continuing flight to FLL was canceled. It was ship 6700.
It's a big building with patients, but that's not important right now.
