I think (personally) that all this fuss about the delays (unfortunately impacted to the German side, sorry guys but it's true
) is directly due to the fact that they must have made so many improvements/modifications to MSN
001 all along the test preparations that it is hard to cope with all the mods for the three other A/C at the same time, and implement it in production.
I suspect it's just a LOT of tiny little mods which creates so much trouble, but it looks like there is nothing really major...

Next airframe to fly is supposed to be MSN
004, which will go through major tests (RTOs, extreme weather conditions), along with MSN
002 & MSN
007 will indeed be cabin fitted before the year end in Hamburg (lots of different fitting/seats makers and IFE systems), and then do the route proving and early long flights. (hope to be one of the first a.netters to fly on this monster, i'll do a trip report

Well it all depends but I would not think so. You could see MSN
002 outside the factory, and MSN
001 across the runways at the flight test centre, but they rarely fly on week-ends. However they did fly on 14th of July (Bastille day in France which is a national holyday).
