Private 737s At SJU

Fri Jul 29, 2005 2:44 am

I was at SJU yesterday and I saw a few private A/C, two of which were 737s! I saw the first one was a 73G, probably the BBJ, but couldn't get a rego. The second one's registration was N977UA. I figure it was an ex 732 from UA but I am surprised that it still has the same registration. The ex UA bird was at gate 27 or something - right next to NK and CO. Was this scheduled to fill in for NK (Spirit)?

N977UA is owned by Sky King Inc, whoever that is.

They are a caribbean airline that centers it's traffic around Turk and Caios. This must be for charters because their next largest A/C is a Beech 1900.
Thanks!

Sky King is a charter operator...amongst other things, I know they carry some sports teams, and I think their a/c is being used on the "Fly First Class" service between FLL-NAS?

Should note that that is a different Sky King, sorry...

I can't find a website for the US Sky King but I assure you it's a different carrier...
