Where Is Leahy?

Fri Jul 29, 2005 7:34 am

I'm sure this post will generate some sarcastic responses, but I am genuinely curious where the renowned Mr. Leahy is. I know he was quiet several months ago because of health issues and then there was a flurry of press reports about him just before and during the airshow in June and then...nothing.

My impression has been his name and his words have been mentioned quite liberally in the past with each order announced by Airbus. Even Baseler and Carson from Boeing, who tend to keep a lower profile, are quoted in one form or another on a regular basis.

Is it just my impression or has Leahy really been staying under the radar lately?

He just got promoted...perhaps that could have something to do with it!

All the more reason I would expect to hear more about him.
