US Airways/Republic Transaction Delayed (MDA)

Fri Aug 05, 2005 4:57 am

The transaction concerning MidAtlantic has been delayed, supposedly for 30 days. As of right now, Republic does not own MDA.

Key points of the delay.

  • The Aug 3rd Republic Training Class is cancelled.
  • Simulators were not sold to Republic on July 27th, as scheduled.

Yeah, Republic doesn't want to run a class of 2. Imagine that.  Silly

I thought that NONE Of the 390 pilots accepted Republic's offer of $10 less per hour, check airmanship, and reset their DOH/DOT :P :P
