Well it doesn't say what unions are supposed to show. Is there really unified support?

From the airline unions, there will be speakers from PFAA, AFA, and ALPA. There will also be representatives from most other major unions (UFCW, AFSCME, HERE, etc..). Though there may not have been a coordinated strategy to date, any union member or activist can recognize the sort of aggression NW is pursuing with the lockout. That is why you will see more solidarity as the situation continues to deteriorate.

I can tell you that ALPA is likely not siding with the mechanics unless the head guys of it are, apparently all the pilots at NW are saying that the mechanics would be stupid to strike because they wont have a job then. They are getting frusturated at them purposely taking a great while to get out to the planes when needed.

Northwest offered them a great deal a while back, but since they all have their heads up their butts they rejected it. I doubt they will see that deal come to the table again, oh well, too bad so sad.

Until MG starts flying NW flights. Then all hell will break loose.
