I understand that UA's C Class is considered to be quite comfortable and still good for a night's rest despite the fact that it is not lieflat etc...is that an accurate statement?
Yes, in fact, the last time I flew UA
C-class was SFO
about two years ago, and the seats were pretty good. Long flights indeed.
Original reason for asking: the wife and I are flying from ORD
) late May of 2006 in C, and I just wonder if that 15:20 ORD
leg in a 744 is going to be any better the next time....
I've seen LH
C seats, and while I've never sat in them, I too hope that UA
's new C seats aren't like them! The ability to independently adjust the back and the legrests on UA
's C seats are a bonus, but I really like the idea of sleeping for 8 hours or so on a flat seat (and when I say "flat", I mean "flat", not "flat on a downward angle".
So, the big question, I guess, is "when will UA
emerge from bankruptcy?"
Jeez...we've never heard any speculation like that here before, have we?
