FCA 757 At GLA

Fri Aug 12, 2005 5:13 am

Any ideas why First Choice Boeing 757 G-CPEU has been grounded at GLA all week ? Thank goodness for the back-up plane.
Perhaps our oracle friend Crosswind can shed some light.

It was damaged by ground equipment last week and one of the elevators had to be removed and sent to the repair shop. Elevators and other major structural elements aren't available as off-the-shelf spares so the aircraft was out of service for the time the repair took to complete.
