Safety Info: Braceposition Only On QF/BA?

Fri Aug 12, 2005 9:32 pm

I recently had the distinct pleasure to fly QF - I noticed that they -as do BA - have included information about braceposition on their emergency cards and in the safety video. It seemed to me to be very useful information.

I have not seen this on other airlines, is this a mandatory requirement from the OZ/British authorities?
Why does no other countries demand it?
