This evening I was spotting at BOS
out by Winthrop for the 4R landings, hoping to get the first BA
flight back. I was expecting flight BA0215 to come in at about 6:38pm. Near that time I see a BA
747 what appeared to be taking off from 27. I wasn't expecting that because I didn't think they would have any planes left in BOS
. I get back and check their arrivals and departures and see that 215 landed at 7:54. I'm assuming it had an aborted landing. Does an aborted landing actually make it over an hour delayed? It must have been coming in on fumes! They probably just turned off an engine or two while doing circles.
