Sorry, but the link is in Spanish. There is one at The Wall Street Journal, that I can't access.

Yeah, my wife had checked the tickets prices for PNS-DFW-AMA and back about a month ago and they were fairly decent...about $260. Now they're at $343, which still isn't bad, but shows the increase.

I would imagine that this trend will continue alongside the gasoline prices at the pumps. Hopefully it will come down sometime soon, since we still have enough fossil fuels for now but need to improve the extraction of them and the refining processes.

Oh well, guess I'll oil up my 10-speed soon!  Big grin

P.S. Just paid $2.79 a gallon to fill up...unreal!

The article of the above link, basically says that the immediately increase in fares is just $10 OW, $20 RT.

But I can't still find a link in English.

I live in PNS...Airfare's Change all the time, so check frequently...I just looked up PNS-AMA for early September on kayak.com and got CO as the cheapest with $377. But my friend recently booked a $186 RT airfare on FL between PNS-PHF. What gives?

At the Sunoco station near my house, they sell 93 octane gas for $3.15, so stop complaining.

The fuel surcharge I believe is for international flights only.

For instance, AA's fuel surcharge is USD55 each way out of Europe (non other airline has matched this yet)
