Just finished SFO-TPE-BKK-TPE-SFO with them. Good service, although service has declined over the years. Seats are comfortable, and meals are good. Where will your dad be flying?

Thanks for the info!
My dad will be flying SFO-TPE with them. He'll be flying in the business class section. He's returning on Northwest though, next Friday. It's only for business.

Although I've never flown their Business class, I have had a feeling that it was a bit inferior to other airlines' business classes in terms of seats and entertainment. We'll have to see how your dad feels about it! Just curious- is your dad going out on BR27 (545pm)or BR17 (130am)?

Business Class

Yes indeed. Their Business are definitely not as good as airlines such as SQ, CX, TG or MH. It's assumed that because they're a relatively new airline (unexperienced) so they gave up the F and C class and moved the totally on the upper deck and focused on the "Evergreen Deluxe" Class, similar to United's Economy Plus, or Virgin's Premium Economy. And they've done a good job on that. So don't expect too much on their Business class. Next time, try MH or SQ on their LAX - TPE flights. Or China Airlines, if comfort is all you want...
