I read about the AD issued on the Boeing 737 rudder system, but I'm wondering what the scope of the AD is.
First, does it require immediate action, or can the suspect rudder systems be checked and replaced during heavy C or D checks?
Second, must the rudder components in question be fixed or replaced?
And lastly, is the AD limited in scope to 737-200s through -500s, or are the rudder systems on the 737NGs faulty as well?
