US Airways First Class Info!

Fri May 05, 2000 5:47 am

Just wanted to let you know that in the Preferred Edition of the May, 2000, Dividend Miles Newsletter, this is an article about the new A330s, and it includes a photo of the First Class seats!

The look very much like AA's First Class seats. The legrest appears to fully extend, and the seat reclines into a pod, again much like AA.

The corresponding article includes details of the new A330s. First Class benefits include:
-Sleeper seats that recline a full 180 degrees
-Full size comforter
-slippers
-Fresh Cut Flowers
-Menu selections including Georges Perrier of Philly's Le Beck-Fin and John Burton-Race of London's L'ORTOLAN (I've never heard of the latter)

Envoy benefits include:
-2X2X2 cabin
-Ergonomically designed seats with 4-way lumbar support
-Fine dining

Both First Class and Envoy Class passengers will be welcomed in Philadelphia's Envoy Club and other US Airways Clubs systemwide. There will be no separate First Class lounge.

Every seat is equipped with the Sony P@ASSPORT system.

I can't find the newsletter on their site, so keep an eye out for it in a mailbox near you!
