Sun Country is working and expanding, because they're an alternative to NW's large high-fare hub network. By offering service to destinations across the U.S. on ONE low-cost-friendly aircraft type (B738), and simplifying other areas of operation, they can provide service to LAS, RSW, SXM, etc. with fares that NW could only dream of. However, NW before the strike seemed to have shrugged off ideas that SY could affect their operations much. So SY has NOT been in a fare-war with NW too much. They found that they don't have to have ridiculously low fares, they just have to beat NW.
'Cause you're on ATA again, and on ATA, you're on vacation!

Um - you might want to check out MSP/DEN

Round trips on Sun Country for $108, on NW for $120? I think that is ridiculously low.

cheers
