They never had 762s--they had 763s. I know they operated here to IAH for a while.

762s originally delivered to OV (Aeromaritime)

Here is some information from http://airtransportbiz.free.fr/AF/AF767.html

"The two [767-200] airplanes were introduced into service on routes to St Denis (RUN) in La Réunion and to the Caribbean the next winter under OV's colors"

"In late 1991, Aéromaritime International was fully integrated to Air France. Its two 767-200ERs were repainted with Air France's colors and placed...onNice (NCE)-Lyon (LYS)-JFK operated on twice a week...as well as an extra night daily flight from CDG to JFK."

"The NCE-LYS-JFK route was dropped and the CDG flights were discontinued in spring of 1992 and the airplanes were subsequently leased out to Balkan Bulgarian (LZ) until January (F-GHGD) and March 1999 (GE) before being sold to El Al (LY) respectively in February and April."

Air France never ordered them themselves but they acquired them through the integration of Aeromaritime. OV had ordered 2, F-GHGD and F-GHGE.

Here it is in its original OV colours:

Those birds are now with El Al as 4X-EAF (ex F-GHGE) and 4X-EAE (F-GHGD).

Looks like they both frequent LAX, operating LY's LAX-YYZ-TLV service.
