Swefly MD11 Pax

Mon Aug 29, 2005 4:00 am

Hi Smile

According to www.scanair.no, a Norwegian aviation enthusiast site, Swefly is in the market for additional longhaul aircraft. They will start STO/NYO-BKK the 8th Of December and need more widebody capacity. They are looking for an MD11 or an additional B767.

This is great news Smile I suppose they go for the MD11 due to the excellent cargocapacity of the aircraft and the route to BKK is in high demand for cargo.

Anyone with more information ??

Best regards from

Yep, but the MD-11 is not the most fuel efficent aircraft! Excellent news though Big grin

Will they run feeder flights for the BKK route into the UK?

Any idea where the MD11 will come from, they are pretty hard to get hold of now!

The SW MD-11 goes to UPS Airlines.
