Most Busy Air Cargo Route In Africa?

Tue Aug 30, 2005 4:30 pm

After the thread with the most busy passenger routes in Africa, I wonder how it is with regards to air cargo?
Aircraft are marginal costs with wings.

It may be JNB-NBO (Nairobi, Kenya), or NBO-BEN (Benghazi, Libya), as multiple carriers (CV, Bluebird) fly these routes or have flown them in the past. However, these two sectors are complete guesses, so correct me if I'm mistaken.

Quoting AJO (Reply 1):

yes this route is operating heavily. for example a daily MD11F from LH Cargo, some CV flights per week....

but I think there is not to much cargo transportet via this two citys (most carrier only unloading import or loading export freight from europe to nbo, and refulling the flight...

I think it´s very hard to say exaclty what route is the with the most flights per week ... as many many russian aircrafts are flyining arround africa without any timetable.
