The weather forecast this week has no precipitation and light winds through Sunday, so Massport decided they would try and do the project all at once. Winds are forecast from mostly the southwest, which means 22R for dep and 27 for arrivals. There will be some delays, but it shouldn't be too bad.
Runway closed for re-paving, delays expected
Logan to shut key runway for week

Opting for one long headache instead of several shorter ones, Logan International Airport officials plan to shut down a key runway for seven straight days starting Monday morning to finish a $7.5 million repaving project.
People flying in and out of Logan next week could encounter delays of 15 to 30 minutes, and potentially much longer, depending on whether shifting winds make a second big runway unusable.
