Hmm... if memory serves me correctly there is a very small grass strip in the very near vicinity to COS (like 3 miles from the field to the southwest). Could this be it?

OK guys.. it's on an island off the European continent. I promise, this is located in a MAJOR metro area... By my recollection, it's located about 10 miles north/northwest of one of the larger airports in Europe.

In fact.. this is the airport that it's close to. If you can identify this, you may just get both of them! Double bonus, 20 points!

Identify one and look for a small strip nearby and get both...

Stirling/DTManiac.. I'm curious. How did you know that was MAN?

And no, Wycombe Air Park is not right. At least I don't think so. I'm relying on the accuracy of Google Earth. We'll see if it pays off. If not, I'll take the hit for misidentifying.

@BCAInfoSys

Well, you said it was on a European island next to a large airport. If its not Heathrow it must be MAN then since no other European island has a big metropolitan area except Great Britain. But no idea about the grass strip.
