Ryanair: Last B732 Flights

Wed Sep 07, 2005 4:49 pm

Does anyone here have an updated list of Ryanair's last Boeing 737-200 services? I know there has been such a list recently, maybe 1-2 months ago, but I cannot find the corresponding post.

I have just checked Dublin Airport's website, and they show plenty of B737 (not B738!) flights until March 5, 2006. I wonder if their timetable is reliable though.

Thanks for your help!

As of yesterday, in service and all based at Dublin are

CJC, CJG, CNT, CNV, CNW, CNX, CNZ, COB, COX.

The plan was that all 200's would be gone by end of November 2005 and I believe that this is still correct.

I'll be flying from CRL to SNN next saturday. Any chance of being on a 732?

Chances are little. The flight is operated by a SNN-based aircraft, right? The SNN-based aircraft is a B737-800, and I doubt they have any B737-200s based in CRL.

Apparantly the final DUB-BLK 732 flight will be Thursday 3rd November. Whether this will apply to all services ex-DUB I do not know, but it would seem likely it does.

All CRL-SNN flights are operated with 738s. No 732s are based at CRL, and the only 732s operating into CRL are those making DUB-CRL-DUB (not all services though).

Maybe that final phase out date depends on the Boeing strike?

If someone of you will fly with a FR 732 from now till the time when they are phased out, please give a wave  wave  to those great planes from me... I tried to find the way to fly on them in the DUB-LPL leg but I were unlucky and I won't have the possibility to fly with those classics anymore...
At least on a FR one.

Someone knows if all the planes will be scrapped or if any airline will buy some of them???
Thanks

Ciao

Luckily I've been on a KQ 732 flight last year  Smile. Chances are little that I will be on another one I guess...

They were sold some time ago to Autodirect, an aircraft broker. Demand for 732s in some markets is still quite high, and therefore any 732s with time left before a major check is due are likely to find takers.

If you're desperate for a 732 ride come down to India and try Alliance Airway's great Delhi-Jaipur-Jodhpur-Udaipur-Bombay flight on a 24-25 year old 732. With the 319's coming in later this year, there is not long for them as well. Its a pity to see the FR 732's go, but times must change, and like the 1-11's went the 732's must go as well. I guess in 15-10 years time people on this forum will be lamenting the departure of FR's 738's too!
