Japanese Airlines

Fri Sep 09, 2005 1:55 pm

Hey folks,

Wondering if anyone can help me out...I'm in search of some of the following information re JAL/JAL Domestic/JALEX/JAC, ANA/ANA Connection and Skymark...

- pilot bases
- average crew age by fleet type
- percentage of foreign pilots in pilot workforce (I've heard it's around 6% but would like to verify this)

much obliged!

I have one question to add to that, who is the largest airline in Japan, ANA or JAL?

I cannot tell you the percentage of foreign pilots working for the airlines in Japan but I have met quite a few Americans working as pilots for both Jal and ANA on the bus from Hanneda to Narita.

ANA is probably the larger carrier right now.
