I expect another carrier in FNT in the spring because FNT has built on the the terminal, parking lot and will be adding a third baggage carousel. I'm thinking it will be the new USAirways
|Quoting A330323X (Reply 5):|
I can't see that happening. US has had no luck serving FNT in the past, when its network was better suited for it. They're also pulling out of GRR next month.

The route is not ending... it is only being reduced. And the reason that these flights were going to be cut was because they were not making money... even though they were meeting LF expectations.

F9 CEO Potter has said new DTW service is exceeding expectations and is already performing at system average, something not expected for up to 12 months after initiating service. I'm not sure about FNT, but its a good bet F9 won't be leaving DTW anytime soon.
|Quoting Luv2fly (Reply 12):|
Right now if you ask me, adding service from FNT would take away from the DTW loads. It would make more sense to add GRR over FNT as passengers from GRR would be less likely to make the drive to DTW to catch F9.

I could see F9 CR7 JetExpress service from GRR-DEN happening
