Fri Sep 23, 2005 4:48 am

Several references made to Jetblue flight Crew being 2 female. Another reference made to someone monitoring ATC and noting the pilot's demeanor as calm, cool, " his" voice etc..... so, just who flew that damn fine landing ?  Confused  Confused  Confused

I thought I saw a bald guy in the captain's chair on the new. Could be wrong, though. It's really a non-issue.

CNN Internet News said that the pilot's name was Scott Burke

According to Prune, it was the second occurrence at JetBlue and would you believe it - the same skipper was in command!

No they weren't female. The captain was male in his late 40s with glasses, the F/O was male in his late 30 early 40s. As I was watching it live here in L.A the crew came out the plane and waved to everyone outside. The F/As looked especially happy. They did play some ATC recordings they had with the Captain and B6 maintenance and the captain acted very casueally even joked about not wanting to talk to media after arriving on the ground.
