Video of PIA Airbus A300-B4 Setting the World Altitude record - 40,000 ft!!! The highest ever altitude by Airbus A300-B4 in commercial flying history: FL400. Captain Jazib Kamal, First Officer Umer, Flight Engineer Zakir flying from peshawar (main credit to the Captain). Video Credit Ali Uppal.

lol...its funny to listen to them speaking partly in urdu........but congrats to PK on the achievement.... bigthumbsup

That's the million dollar question, nobody seems to know for sure and the answers vary quite a bit:

The highest I've seen published online is 40K feet. If that's accurate, it makes the PIA record all the more impressive.
