CO To Australia

Can CO's B777 fly IAH-SYD-IAH? If yes, I hope to see it do LON-IAH-SYD-IAH-LON...

Yes, LON-IAH is possible, but IAH-SYD-IAH is not!

IAH-SYD is 8596nm, the 772ER's range is (7730nm according to a.net and 268 Tonne MTOW version)! The 772LR can just make this journey, but not sure when fully loaded?

CO hasn't ordered any 772LRs; the recent order was for 2 additional ERs. So don't expect to see CO headed to Australia or New Zealand (or EWR-SIN) anytime soon.

I'm still hoping CO does order some LRs, though.
