Ultimate Aviation Video Thread

Fri Oct 07, 2005 6:53 pm

Fellow A.netters,

from time to time threads appear on A.net with links to aviation related videos.

For example, I remember a video where a 727 evacuated people shortly before the fall of Da Nang (at least I think it was Da Nang). People were still standing on the rear stairs of the aircraft when it was already airborne.
Or I remember another video where spotters at SXM were blown away by the powerful jetblast of a departing KLM 744.

Unfortunately I lost all the links to these great videos and the video collection on my hard disk is very poor. Thus I created this thread with the purpose that everybody might post links to videos or websites that contain aviation related video material.

I want everything: Spectacular landings at Kai Tak, extrem shear winds pushing airliners, amateur footage of airliner accidents, simply everything you have even if it is redundant with other threads. Funny stuff, too, like the Heineken commercial with the bumpy landing. This thread should be the source for every A.netter who looks for aviation videos.

Since this is supposed to be the biggest civil aviation website of the internet I really hope to get a big response which enables me to gain a nice big video archive.

I would really appreciate your contributions and I think other members would do that, too.

Regards and thanks in advance

Frederik

P.S.: I am going to STR for the weekend and hope I need hours to look through all the links on Sunday when I come back.

Can't help ya much but i'm interested in those videos as well.
I do have some on my HD but i'm to lazy to upload them all so here's a good one. Very hard landing with a bursting off tail.

Just open the link put you mouse on FREE and then wait a few secs to download and enjoy!

There is one problem with airbus. Though their products are engineering marvels they lack passion, completely.

Thanks for the first reply, Jush.

I dont wanna let y'all do all the work  biggrin . I found a funny one with a reporter surprised by a Spitfire aircraft.

well, FL350.com is rather boring almost only normal landings.
For me it's the incidents and rare airport landings that make that interesting
