Bahamasair Dash-8?

For a couple of days now, there has been a Bahamasair Dash-8 route Quebec-RDU. Is this for real? Why would a Bahamasair Dash-8 do that route? Can anyone explain this?

Perhaps it was in Quebec for maintenance? Otherwise it could have either been a charter flight or a repositioning flight due to hurricane activity. Was this a one way trip or a roundtrip?

Not sure.. the same flight occurred on thursday.. Quebec-RDU.. it was quite bizarre..

It's just a fuel and Customs stop. There is a second flight# 903 listed to run RDU-MYNN. My guess is Bahamasair is just getting some new planes. It's not strange at all.

God, imagine if that were a passenger run? YQB-RDU 3hrs07 and then another at least 3 hrs (i'd imagine ) to the Bahamas . . . my god they'd have a mutiny on board that thing! I love the DH8 but i dont think id wanna be on
one for that long !!


PS - Whats MYNN and how do u find out that flight info as above?

It's easy... 902 was the first leg, so I took a guess and typed in 903 for the 2nd leg and was right. #903.... Raleigh-Durham to Nassau, Bahamas.

It could be that UP got some new aircraft or It could have came from YQB from maintainence. BTW does anybody know when they are due to replace their 732 with more modern equipment??? they are getting pretty old now

That route is flown for maintenance, its not an uncommon route for UP.
