Provence Aero Service...who Are They?

Tue Oct 11, 2005 5:22 am

I've seen them listed on FlyteComm on flights to PHL from several cites using EMB-170s, but cannot find any info on them. Who are they? Are they a regional carrier for a major? Any help?

Thanks

Jeff

I don't think FlyteComm updated their database. Provence Aero Service 3-letter is RPA which is the new Republic Airways dba US Airways Express. RPA must be recycled from Provence Aero Service possibly. I noticed that too. As a side note, Republic's callsign is "Brickyard." I found that to be different.

So does this mean they have started flying the listed flights in place of MidAtlantic or are they flying for someone other than US?
