Cubana And The IL-96?

Thu Oct 13, 2005 2:53 am

Just a quick question,

Where will Cubana use their new IL-96's to?

Will they ever be used to LGW?

If they obey the sound restrictions, they I don't see why not. But I thought that one problem with the IL96 was its range , it is FAR better than the IL86, but I think it might have to have a stop over.

predominately on Long Haul routes.

Sorry, I hadnt seen that post. I knew they were out of service because of the story in one of my magazines.

This is all I can find about their international destinations:

International scheduled destinations: Bogotá, Buenos Aires, Cancún, Caracas, Fort-de-France, Guatemala City, Kingston, Las Palmas, London, Madrid, Mexico City, Montréal, Moscow, Nassau, Panama City, Paris, Pointe-à-Pitre, Rome, San José, Santo Domingo, São Paulo, and Toronto.

Could be any one of those I guess, subject to range.
