Is the delta museum open to the public?
New airliners.net web site sucks....
Also the mods want to kill free speech and prevent people from saying things like the above. Better say nothing about awesomeness for this place or else!

I don't think so. It is inside the general offices compound. I'm not sure if they will open it up if/when 102 heads over there.

Best wishes,

...anyone else think it's kinda dumb to have a museum but not open it up to the public? I've been to the AA museum near DFW and it was filled with members of the general public--great publicity for their airline.

Walk in the front gate and show your ID. Duh! LOL  Wink

Actually, I think(key word there) it may be open to the public. Its the second building to the left of the front gate. I believe that if you are not a Delta employee, you have to sign in and show proof of ID. You can always just look up the Delta HQ number in the ATL phone book and ask. But I think it is open. Or hang around the Schlotzky's down the street, its a big G.O. lunch place and you are sure to run into someone who knows the answer.
