Strictly Forbidden To Take Pics!

Mon Oct 17, 2005 6:20 am

Well this is what they told me when I got off the plane at TLS on Friday afternoon....Took a pic when I got out of the airplane . And then, this afternoon when I was goin back to GVA, I took a pic of this LH CRJ 200 and the E145 I was going to take back to GVA and the airport employees told me it was striclty forbidden to take pic otherwise I could get a fine

Now why the hell is it forbidden...What am I going to do with my oics...I'm not like some spy or anything. Why are we not allowed to take pics even from the inside of the terminal....its insane and I don't get why !!!!

Quoting RootsAir (Thread starter):
TLS

Because it's TLS. Airbus doesn't want it secrets all over the internet. Same goes for inside the Boeing plants.

You certainly didn't understand my thread. I was talking inside TLS airport terminal...not the actual plant...ther is a big distinction and they are on very opposite sides of the airport!

And when I mentioned GVA, I mntioned when I was going back to GVA and the E145 I took to go back to GVA...never of GVA itself

Next time it happens politly ask to see where this rule is posted for public knowledge and what rules and regulation number is involved from what publication. If they can't, go to their supervisor, if he can't, make an appointment with the airports public relations director, if they can't, find the airport director.

Of course I know you can't do all this while waiting for your plane to board but if you make it plain that you intend to you may get some satisfaction.

Rules that govern conduct in a public building usually are posted at the entrances. No shirt, no shoes, no photos

I've had this happen many times but usually in paranoid third world near dictatorships where normal rules don't apply. You might mention that just to get a kick in.
