JetBlue-Tower Controller Conversation Tape-WABC TV

New York- WABC, October 18, 2005) - Eyewitness News has obtained dramatic audio tapes between air traffic controllers and the pilots of Jet Blue plane, bound for New York, that was crippled by a faulty landing gear.

I liked the "we actually have parts in custody" part of the article. Did the parts offer any resistance? Did they use handcuffs?

I think it's halarious how the media calls it the "HORROR" on board lol.. Doesn't sound like there was anything HORRIFIC happening in the cockpit lol.

the same thing happen on a b6 flight in 2002, with the NLG cocked at a 90 degree angle.. for a emer. landing at JFK..
