Citybird is from Belgium. This airline flies from BRU to the USA and Mexico, and Sabena is wet-leasing some MD11's from Citybird to fly SN routes (BRU-GRU, for instance).

That's right.
CityBird has a few MD-11's (one of them comes from World Airways, I think) and 2 B767-300ER's in its fleet. They are based in Brussels. The airline was born about two years ago, the founder is Victor Hasson (I know him !) who previsously was running EBA (Euro Belgian Airlines). He founded CityBird just when EBA was bought by Virgin. EBA is now Virgin Express.
CityBird flies out of Brussels to the following cities:
Miami
Orlando
Mexico City
Los Angeles
Las Vegas
San Francisco
They used to fly to New York (EWR) but now they don't anymore. Sabena took over that flight. Sabena has now a daily MD-11 flight from Brussels to Newark.
I have a few friends who flew CityBird, they told me that the service on board was OK.

AA727: They don't actually fly to San Francisco, but to Oakland... They just say San Francisco because it is pretty close by.
