Which airline was the former operator of this aircraft? SilkAir?

Or is it just a wet-leasing?

Their website is down. Is it the pink plane that we see in the ads. He plans to have the planes painted in different colours.

Cricket, yes, it is the pink-ish plane, very Preity, if you get what I mean.

By the way, how will the land sale imbroglio in Mumbai impact the fortunes of the Wadias. Seems a whole lot of old-family negative-wealth/positive-debt kind of business houses in India are depending on sales of properties to pull them back into business. Example Shrirams/Najafgarh-DCM and Wadias/various-Mumbai.

What happens to their airline plans if their property sales don't come through, do they come back to ground, what do you think?

Do you mean EI-DIG? This is c/n 1597, a (former) Iberworld A320-214

Quoting Viasa (Reply 6):

It was EI-DIG.
It was parked at BOM last night.Had a good look at it.The Indian Reg marks have been masked out until Indian C of R is Issued.
It was in a Blue Scheme, looks good.Apart from the Slant Website address on the Fuselage,it should have been straight.
The Amazing part is they have chosen CFM56Bs as the Powerplant as opposed to the trend in India of A320 with V2500 Engines.
Although IC's fresh fleet will be CFM56B powered too.
Heard their 2nd A320 is due by the End of the month.
