What Do You Know About Globe Air/Switzerland?

Tue Oct 25, 2005 4:29 am

When my father used to work in Lisbon Airport I remember one day visiting a swiss airplane, and I remember that one of the crew members gave me a postcard of that airplane, this was probably in 1965/1966. In one of the last Airliners World, they talked about HP Herald and guess what I saw there, exactely the same photo of the postcard I remember having, and the airline was Globe Air from Switzerland. Now can anyone tell me about their operation? Did they actually flew to Lisbon, or maybe some charter flights? Or did they pass on transit to maybe Africa or South America?
