What Does A Station Manager Make?

Tue Oct 25, 2005 1:50 pm

I have always been curious, but never heard a true figure, but what do airline station managers make in a year? Does it depend on the airline?? What is the range and benefits...for all of us workers in the airline industry we all know we are not in it for the money, but how does it fare for the top dogs??

It very much depends on the airline. For instance I know some LAX station managers for smaller US airlines they barely make $50-60,000, while other for some foreign carriers that are easily over $100,000 with company provided housing and car.

Not enough Big grin At Delta the SMs seem to make an adequate amount for a good family income. Just the hassles involved made it seem not enough.

Just depends on the airline and the cost of living in the Stations general area. Some SM's only make about US$25-US$35000 a year. So there really isn't a real number to give you.
