ANA Ready To Launch 767-300BCF

Tue Oct 25, 2005 6:23 pm

ANA is set to become the launch customer for the 767-300 Boeing Converted Freighter (BCF), says Flight International magazine.

Do you think this means the end of the line for new-build 767s, once the flood gates open for cheap, used 767 airframes?

I knew Boeing was offering B744SF but since when did Boeing offer converted B763SFs?

Boeing offers the 767-200SF's, why not the 767-300SF's. The conversion isn't different between the two except for the some design updates.

Other than ANA's own 767-300's, where do you think they would other 767-300's for conversion? 2nd-hand 767-300's are pretty scarce unless some other airline or leasing company happens to go belly up.
