On Oct. 22, both Embraer and Air Canada celebrated the arrival of a significant aircraft in Montreal – Embraer’s 100th E170/190 series aircraft and Air Canada’s
10th E175. All decked out in a special 100th anniversary livery which included a flurry of maple leafs, FIN 380 will undergo a pre-service modification and enter
service by month's end. The washable decal will be removed before the aircraft goes into service.
“The delivery of our 100th E-Jet is a great achievement for our new family of aircraft. We are honored that Air Canada, our first worldwide EMBRAER 175 operator, is receiving this commemorative airplane,” said Frederico Fleury Curado, Embraer's Executive Vice- President, Airline Market.
Before FIN380 took to the skies in Brazil, employees from Embraer formed a 100 in front of the airplane.
