Bonjour Antoine, and welcome back to Nouvelle Orleans!

The vast majority of the flights to/from MSY are packed to the gills. There is very high demand from contractors, engineers, government workers, relief workers, and residents. The airport will only have around 50 daily flights when you come to town, but more are being added each month.

I think you'll find that much of the city is on the road to recovery. More restaurants, hotels, and retail are opening everyday.

Enjoy your stay in New Orleans!
