What Is NW's Current Oldest DC-9?

Title says it all. What is NW's oldest DC-9 that is still in service?

N8909E is currently stored at Marana (MZJ). It arrived MZJ on October 15, 2004.

Delivered in March 1966. That's 3 and a half years before 747 first flew and many of those are already gone from service.

N89S is still flying I believe... it was built in 1969. That's the oldest one I've got.
I can't decide whether I miss the tulip or the bowling shoe more

Hey theyre old, but they are great birds. They'll be around just like the Dc-3. Sturdy and reliable! I love em, a real pilots airplane.

No doubt, but comparing the DC-9's of NW with the DC-3's still flying is a bit odd. Many of them are used for sightseeing or cargo flights and NW's DC-9's are used for scheduled pax flights.

I saw this one sitting at the gate the other day while driving on the ramp here at DTW. I thought, "oh my" and couldn't wait to look it up!

The oldest DC-9 of NW is N8920E (45835/95).

To my information NW has this DC-9 fleet (still in service):
