Laid Off Mercedes-Benz Workers To Work At Airbus

Fri Nov 04, 2005 3:08 am

Pardon my not directly quoting the article...

The Wall Street Journal reported today that DaimlerChrysler will be transferring laid-off Mercedes-Benz employees to Airbus. Some will be permanent, some temporary. This will involve 500 of the 8,500 layoffs.

If the quality of my one and only Mercedes-Benz (a C230 from 2000) is any indication, this doesn't bode well for Airbus. 7 major warranty related defects in 3 years before I got rid of it.
