Did JM Ever Fly To FAO?

Sat Nov 05, 2005 1:51 am

I saw this picture in the database and thought it was a bit strange. Have Air Jamaica ever flown to FAO? The 747 is on lease from Aer Lingus, so I suppose it could have been an EI flight but even then, why would they use a 747 on a charter to FAO? Its possible if they could fill it but you dont see many UK flights on 747's these days to FAO, and if anything, i would have thought the popularity of the Algarve would have risen over a 20 yr period.

Hi!

JM never flew to FAO or any portuguese airport. You are right, it was certainly an EI flight, since EI has been a regular visitor to FAO since many years ago!
