Airways International Cymru

Mon Nov 09, 1998 5:59 pm

Does anyone remember this airline from Wales? Which aircraft it flew, routes, IATA code and what happened to it? I guess it was another victim of BA's appetite but I'm not sure.

I remember seeing a photo of a BAC 1-11
-300 or -400 version. Must have been around 1987.

I have a few shots of one of thei 737-300's at Birmingham in the UK.
I think they flew to various Med holiday resorts. They also used to use BAC1-11's, but not for long I think.

Aberdeen, Scotland
