What Would Be The Logical Next Step For Allegiant

Sun Nov 13, 2005 11:26 pm

Following the development of Allegiant, I have been wondering what the logical next focus market would be for them with their concept of linking provincial airports with low frequency services to major tourist gateways. Las Vegas and Orlando are the pretty obvious choices for such a concept, but I have difficulties seeing any other markets to which they could expand. Places like Reno, Atlantic City, New Orleans may have some limited attraction, but if they can only fill flights to Las Vegas or Orlando twice or thrice a week from the airports they serve, how often could the serve such markets with much less attractions ? Any ideas what their mid-term strategy is ?
