Bournemouth Expansion, More Routes

Tue Nov 15, 2005 6:50 am

Bournemouth Airport is to have a new daily service to Scotland’s capital city next summer thanks to the latest expansion from Scotland’s low fares airline – flyglobespan.

The Edinburgh-based airline is to launch a daily service from Bournemouth on 26th March 2006 with fares starting at only £19.99 including taxes.

Fantastic news, soon will have more routes from this airport with a wide range of airlines flying into the airport. I think this flight will do well and make an alternative from flying out of southampton.

Flights depart Bournemouth every day at 09.40 hrs and arrive in Edinburgh at 11.00 hrs. Return flights arrive into Bournemouth at 09.10 hrs.

Not bad hours either although only one flight a day which isn't too good.

I'd imagine the flights to be operated by 737-600s

In a 10-10-10 config due to BOH being a popular destination, seats fill 0.5 seconds within becoming available.
