Well easyJet charge £25.00 (i think) so it'll only be about £10 more. The 'pay the difference' aspect is exactly the same.

Of course! It's called market specific pricing. Think about it, BA
are, in the majority of cases, the carrier of choice for UK based travellers. It's a guaranteed market. In Europe, they have to fill their planes back to the UK too, and are competing with national carriers who employ similar vis-a-vis pricing.
